2/18/17 DICK MILLER LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME 

W'boro 35 Utica General Herkimer 33

The warriors played in the biggest game of the year and came out with a OT thriller victory to claim the fame for the day! Ellijah Lewis came to play and hit two deep range 3 pointers to keep Utica on their toes.  Brayden Czternastek and Tony Dorozynski both chipped in on the offense to help the warriors stay in the game.   Matt DeStefanis scored a key two points for the warriors late in the game. With seconds left in OT it was our MVP Kyle Meier who put the warriors up by 2pts on his break away layup for the game winning bucket!   Congratulations to the 5th grade boys travel team on an outstanding season!  Great group of boys!!! GO WARRIORS

2/15/17 DICK MILLER LEAGUE PLAYOFF SEMI-FINAL GAME 9-2

W'boro 30 Holland Patent 23

Kyle Meier played a great game on both sides of the ball.  Kyle scored the first 2pts of the game and the warriors kept the lead for the remainder of the game.   Tony Dorozynski drained a 3pt sinker to also spark the warriors to a 5pt lead early in the game. Warriors defense played with heart and showed why the warriors have the #1 Defense in the LEAGUE....  GO WARRIORS!!!

 

2/15/17 CNY LEAGUE PLAYOFF SEMI-FINAL GAME 9-0

W'boro 38 VVS 8

Warriors started off slow and struggled on the offensive side, tied 4-4 end of the first qtr...  Brayden Czternastek and some other warriors put some quick pts up and the warriors never looked back after that.  GO WARRIORS!!!

 

2/14/17 CNY LEAGUE 8-0

Great job boys on your undefeated season 8-0!   Onto to the semi-finals....

2/13/17  DICK MILLER LEAGUE 8-2

PLAYOFF GAME-KERNAN GYM

W'boro 33 Jones Hughes 16

Warriors played great defense and contested J/H on every shot.  Brayden Czternastek & Kyle Meirer scored several Pts to help the Warriors gain a nice lead.  Jordan Hughes pulled several rebounds down to help the twin towers secure most of the rebounds.  Jake Englehart scored 4 pts from the outside.    Great job to ALL the boys!   Go Warriors!

 

2/7/17    DICK MILLER LEAGUE 7-2

W'boro 36 General Herkimer 16

Warriors came out on fire, straight off the opening tip from Hughes to Meier for the first 2pts of the game!  Hughes and Meier had a huge night on the boards and put backs to help the warriors secure the win.  Luke Scott drained a deep 3pointer, nothing but NET....  Luke also played a great game controlling the ball for the offense!  Brayden Czternastek, Tony Dorozynski and Patrick Wands all made 3point buckets from deep range to help the warriors secure the win!   Ellijah Lewis displayed lock down defense to shut down the opponent on offense....   Great job boys on a 7-2 final season record!  Playoffs Start Monday for Dick Miller!   Lets go Warriors!

 

2/6/17    DICK MILLER LEAGUE 6-2

W'boro 27 vs General Herkimer 30

The warriors played in a tough battle Monday night at Kernan, only allowing the high scoring offense of General Herkimer to score 30pts....  

 

1/30/17  DICK MILLER LEAGUE 6-1

W'boro 22 Holland Patent 17

Brayden Czternastek and Kyle Meier both helped the offense on scoring. Warrior Defense won the game as they made it very difficult for the oppenent to score!!!    Warriors have 3 weeks left of our season, making a push for the title!  Great Job Boys!!

 

1/18/17 CNY LEAGUE 7-0

W'boro 43 Oneida 31

Brayden Czternastek led the warriors with 14pts & Tony Dorozynski, Kyle Meier, Luke Scott, Jordan Hughes, Devin Zawada, Matt DeStefanis, Patrick Wands, Tristan Matthews all chipped in to help the warriors secure the victory! The warriors continue to go unbeaten in the CNY league and hope to make a push for the title!   Go warriors!

On a very Cold night the warriors traveled to Kernan elementary for a 7pm tipoff and Tony Dorozynski sparked the warriors with a quick couple buckets from the outside!  Tristan Matthews, Kyle Meier and Luke Scott also chipped in on the offense to help the warriors score pts!  Warrior Defense is still #1 in the Dick Miller league making it very difficult for our opponets to score!   W'boro has allowed the least amount of points scored against us in all of the league....   Great Job to all the boys for their hard work!!   Go Warriors!

 

1/5/17 CNY LEAGUE 4-0

W'boro 57 VVS 18

Thursday's away game was just another day of great basketball by our W'boro boys.  Jordan Hughes & Klye Meier had a huge night on the boards and both scored in double digits!  Matt DeStefanis also had a big night scoring 10pts!!  As always our defense shut VVS offense down keeping them from scoring from the outside.   Great Job to all the boys!

 

12/21/16 CNY LEAGUE 3-0

W'boro 59 ND 14

Wednesday home game was a team effort as Tristan Matthews, Mathew DeStefanis, Patrick Wands, Ellijah Lewis, Jordan Hughes, Devin Zawada, Kyle Meier, Jake Englehart, Luke Scott, Tony Dorozynski and Brayden Czternastek let it rain buckets throughout the night!  Once again our Defense was a big factor in our win!  Great job to ALL the boys...   Merry Christmas to our Basketball Family!

12/19/16  DICK MILLER LEAGUE 3-1

W'boro 33 Jefferson 8

Once again our defense came out strong and made it very difficult for Jefferson to score....  Tony Dorozynski and Jordan Hughes sparked the offense by each scoring 12pts along with Hughes pulling down 11 rebounds.  Ellijah Lewis also displayed lock down defense on his opponent.   Great job to all the boys!

 

5th Grade boys travel team entered The Holiday Classic tournament December 17th & 18th finishing with a record of 2-1 losing in the Championship game to our EAST rival.  Great effort to both teams!!!

 

12/14/16 CNY LEAGUE  Record 2-0

W'Boro 39 Canastota 18

Once again W'boro defense played a key factor in the game.  Devin Zawada sparked the offense,  going 4-5 from the outside scoring 8pts.  Brayden Czternastek chipped in his usual double digit night.  Great Job boys!

 

5th Grade boys travel team entered the Rome Kilpatrick invitational in November,  going 4-0 and crowned champions!  GREAT JOB BOYS!
