12/28/14: Warriors 33 – Camden 7
In the 3rd place game the Warriors played one of their most balanced games of the year. 8 out of 11 players scored. Bryce Collis scored 8 points and ripped down 8 boards. Ty Kane scored 8 as well. Austin Potaczala scored 3 points and added 7 rebounds off the bench and was a spark off the bench with his hustle and hard work. Stevie Dorozynski added 4 off the bench as well.
The Warriors finish the 2014 calendar season at 14-3. A great start to a fun season so far!!
12/27/14: NH Tournament
WCV 34 – Warriors 32
After going 10-12 two games earlier the Warriors went 2 for 12 from the foul line and fell to a mixed WCV/Frankfort squad in the opening game of the New Hartford Tournament. It was a back and forth game to the very end but the Warriors lost their 2nd game of their last 3. Ty Kane scored a team season high with 17 points and added 3 rebounds. Matt Lee added 11 and Bryce Collis snatched 5 rebounds.
Warriors 38 – Camden 10
Whitesboro bounced back after their opening game loss and defeated Camden. 8 out of 11 Warriors scored. Bryce Collis dominated down low with 12 points and 8 rebounds.
NH 33 – Warriors 17
The undermanned Warriors fell to a HOT shooting Spartan team in the 3rd game of the day. Only 4 players scored for Whitesboro in a rough game all around.
12/17/14: Warriors 32 – Utica Heat 16
Whitesboro got off to a hot start by scoring 12 points in the first quarter and cruised to a 16 point victory. Ty Kane scored 8 of his 12 in the first quarter. Bryce Collis added 8 and 5 rebounds. The Warriors go into the winter break with a record of 7-1 good for 2nd in the Dick Miller league.
12/15/14: Rome Select 33 – Warriors 19
Whitesboro suffered its first loss of the season against a big Rome select team. Whitesboro came out a little timid in the first half and was held without a FG as they fell behind 16-6. The Warriors showed some heart and never gave up but the slow start proved too much. Ty Kane led the scoring with 8 points, Ryan Bushey had 6 rebounds. A highlight for the warriors was their foul shooting as they went 10-12.
12/13/14: Warriors 34 - Oneida 30
Whitesboro feel behind 10-1 after the first quarter but never gave up and stormed back to a 4 point win for the 2nd win in the CNY league. The 9:15 start almost proved to be too early for the Warriors. Ty Kane led the scoring with 12 including 6 big points in the 4th quarter. Matt Lee added 9 points and was 3-4 from the line. Bryce Collis had 6 points and a season high 8 rebounds. What a comeback!!
12/10/14: Warriors 36 – Utica Knicks 27
After being down 6-4 in the first quarter the Warriors outscored the Knicks 10-4 in the 2nd on their way to a 9 point win. Ty Kane scored 11 and added 3 rebounds and Bryce Collis scored 10 with 5 rebounds. Ryan Bushey added 5 boards off the bench. The Warriors went 6-10 from the foul line.
12/8/14: Warriors 32– Central Valley 16
Whitesboro used strong defense and balanced scoring to jump out to a 25-9 lead at halftime and never looked back. Ty Kane and Ryan Bushey each scored 8 points and had 2 rebounds. Matt Lee score 6 and added 3 boards and Bryce Collis scored 5 and lead the way on the boards with 4. The win moved the Warriors to 5-0 in Dick Miller
12/4/14: Warriors 34 – Rome 22
In the 2nd of back to back games and the first CNY league game of the season the Warriors turned it on in the 2nd quarter to defeat Rome by 12. Ty Kane and Ryan Bushey again lead the scoring with 10 and 8 points apiece. Matt Lee ran the offense nicely and RJ Delahunt led the way on the boards with 5.
12/3/14: Warriors 36 – Cavs 31
In a back and forth battle the Warriors won their 4th Dick miller game in a row. After going scoreless in the 2nd half the Warriors won the 2nd half 20-10 to win the game by 5. Ryan Bushey was a spark off the bench with 13 big points and Ty Kane added 9. Great win by the Warriors over a very good Cavs team.
11/24/14: Warriors 29 – Utica Bulls 5
Whitesboro’s strong defense was too much for the Bulls. The Warriors held the Bulls to 1 point in the second half as they cruised to their 3rd Dick Miller league win. Ryan Bushey led the scoring with 7 points and added 4 rebounds. Bryce Collis added 5 boards.
11/23/14: Warriors 45 – VVS 40
In the Championship game of the CNY Tip Off Tournament the Warriors jumped out to a quick 6-0 lead and never looked back. VVS mounted a strong comeback but could never get closer than 4 or 5 points. Matt Lee led the scoring with 11 points and Brenden Svitak chipped in 8 big points off the bench as the Warriors won their first tournament together.
11/22/14:
Warriors 56 – Stockbridge 10
The Warriors size and speed was too much for Stockbridge in the 2nd game of the CNY Tip Off Tournament. 10 out of 12 players scored with Ty Kane and Matt Lee leading the way with 10 points each. Bryce Collis added 9.
Warriors 36 – NH 17
The Warriors won their first round game vs NH in the CNY Tip Off tournament. Whitesboro jumped out to a 10-3 lead and never looked back. Matt Lee led the scoring with 12 and Ty Kane added 10.
11/19/14: Warriors 38 – Notre Dame 26
8 Warriors scored with Bryce Collis leading the way with 10 points as the Warriors moved to 2-0 in Dick Miller. Ty Kane added 8 and Matt Lee chipped in 6.
11/17/14: Warriors 22 – NH 21
Warriors start the season right with a 1 point victory over the Spartans. Ty Kane led the scoring with 8 points and Ian Crouch scored 6 including 4 big points down the stretch.

We have 10 players back from last year 1 back from our 4th grade team and 1 new player. Coach Collis and I are very excited for the upcoming season!
